Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Retail business. Tasks: Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.). Teach interest or professional development courses. Authorize payments by cheque. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers. Perform cashiering duties. Deposit cash and maintain daily log books. Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms. Balance cash and record sales. Supervision: Cashiers.
