Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal. Fit and join sheet metal parts. Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Fall Arrest Protection Training Course. Specialization or experience: Copper or metal roofs. Sheeting and cladding. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own vehicle. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Handling heavy loads. Tight deadlines. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Safety glasses/goggles. Gloves. Hard hat. Tools. Personal suitability: Dependability. Excellent oral communication. Organized.
