Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Package take-out food. Portion and wrap foods. Prepare, heat and finish simple food items. Stock refrigerators and salad bars. Take customers' orders. Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs. Maintain adequate stock levels. Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards. Describe menu items including daily specials for customers. Food preparation. Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Standing for extended periods. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Client focus. Ability to multitask.
