About the PositionOur Candiac facility is currently looking for a Production Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting the general maintenance of their work environment.Duties and ResponsibilitiesGeneral maintenance of your work environmentLubrication of plant equipmentHandling containers and bags up to 25 kgOperation of a forklift truck (must have a valid driver's license)Operation of a valve bagging machine and its daily maintenanceOperation of a bagging machine for one-ton bags (tote).Required Skills and QualificationsAble to work in a teamPerform required tasks on an as-needed basisLearn and follow work rules and policiesProduce the right documentationPunctuality and attendance at workCapacity to:Climb steps and use laddersLift 25 kg bags repeatedly over the course of a dayBe sitting or standing for long periods of timeWork at heightBend, kneel, and squatWork in various environmental conditions, hot and cold temperatures and dusty conditionsWork 12-hour shifts on weekdays and weekends, and work overtime when required by managementEducation or Work ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalentA safe work attitudeRespectful and positiveBasic computer and mathematical knowledgeMust be proactive and participate in food safety programs- LocationCandiac, QC
