Are you a creative pro with a keen eye for design? We're seeking a Graphic Designer to create visually appealing and effective design solutions across various media, including signs, large formats, digitally printed matter, packaging, and other printed collateral. You'll collaborate with clients and colleagues to produce high-quality printed materials.Key Responsibilities:Graphic Design:Create visually appealing and effective designs using design software.Develop meticulous layouts for illustrations, icons, logos, etc.Adapt and refine existing ideas or bring your own concepts to life.Incorporate branding elements and design principles to enhance visual impact.Organize and maintain design files and assets for easy retrieval and version control.Ensure efficient and organized workflow to meet project deadlines.Prepress, Proofing, and Quality Control:Optimize and prepare design files for printing, including setting color profiles, image resolution, and bleed areas.Collaborate with departments and suppliers to meet specifications and requirements.Conduct quality checks on proofs to ensure consistency with client expectations and make necessary adjustments.Customer Service:Engage daily with both external and internal customers to ensure product satisfaction.Liaise with vendors and suppliers to meet requirements.Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and service.Qualifications:Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.Strong understanding of brand positioning and key messages, and how to make them visually impactful.Knowledge of the professional printing process, artwork formats, and project phases.Highly organized, efficient, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Respectful of schedules, deadlines, commitments, and approval processes.Proficient in submitting professional-quality, print-ready artwork.Knowledge of color theory, typography, and layout design.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Attention to detail and strong visual aesthetics.Problem-solving skills for addressing design challenges.Impeccable English communication skills (oral and written); bilingualism in English and French is an asset.Join our dynamic team and help us create exceptional printed materials that make an impact!About Mindfield: Our purpose is to help great people find jobs they love with employers who care.
