Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Noisy. Odours. Dusty. Hot. Work setting: Manufacturing and industrial plant. Manufacturing or production. Tasks: Record manufacturing information such as quantity, size and type of goods produced. Build and repair wooden frames used to mould concrete products. Check products for quality control. Move products using forklift, crane or hydraulic hoist. Perform ongoing machine adjustments. Position reinforcing rods or wire mesh in moulds. Fill moulds with concrete. Read blueprint, schemas and drawings. Remove castings from moulds. Finish surfaces of castings using screed or trowel. Supervision: Machine operators. Type of materials: Concrete products. Equipment and machinery experience: Concrete finishing machine. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Standing for extended periods.
