So if you?re looking to do what you love, we could be a perfect match.</p><br><p><span><strong>Our expectations: </strong></span></p><p><span>Under the direction of the Coach, Operations, the Warehouse Worker (Forklift Operator), is responsible for ensuring accuracy on order selections and put-aways and assisting other facilities as needed. Duties include filling orders, let downs, use of RF gun, and paperwork as required. </span></p><p><span><strong>Your role:</strong></span></p><ul> <li><span>Complete replenishments, put-aways, and pallet selects</span></li> <li><span>Complete and maintain all necessary paperwork </span></li> <li><span>Evaluate the size, weight, and volume of goods and merchandise to be moved </span></li> <li><span>Provide attention to detail regarding SKU, quantity, pack, and location information and report discrepancies </span></li> <li><span>Handle merchandise ranging in weight from light to heavy (around 50 pounds) </span></li> <li><span>Drive and operate material handling equipment </span></li> <li><span>Act in accordance to the company policies and procedures </span></li> <li><span>Perform all other related tasks</span></li> </ul><p><span><strong>The qualifications we are looking for :</strong></span></p><ul> <li><span>Related experience and knowledge of forklifts, preferably in Raymond reach truck </span></li> <li><span>RF gun experience (an asset) </span></li> <li><span>Responsible, self-motivated, and attentive to detail</span></li> <li><span>Team player with a positive attitude </span></li> <li><span>Commitment to providing excellent customer service </span></li> <li><span>Strong listening, communication, and organizational skills</span></li> <li><span>Time management and problem-solving skills </span></li> <li><span>Ability to perform job duties that involve stretching, bending, lifting, and carrying medium to heavy products </span></li> <li><span>100% commitment to providing and upholding a safe working environment</span></li> <li><span>Awareness and respect of warehouse safety standards</span></li> <li><span>Good visual/manual co-ordination </span></li> </ul><p><span>RONA is committed to encouraging diversity and inclusion.
