Tasks: Assist health care practitioners during examinations or treatments . Engage in community program development. Monitor patients and advise physician of any changes in patients' condition. Participate in community needs assessment. Address and document symptoms and changes in patients' conditions. Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions. Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician. Operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment. Provide nursing care. Provide supportive counselling and life skills programming. Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff. Perform administrative tasks. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work. Type of treatment experience: Pain management.
