Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Operate cranes equipped with dredging attachments to dredge waterways and other areas. Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction. Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites. Operate bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move and place plant machinery and materials. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs. Pave and rake asphalt. Perform routine maintenance work. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Personal suitability: Dependability. Flexibility. Reliability. Experience: Experience an asset.
