*Job Description:*
*Responsibilities:*
· Do the system requirement engineering.
· Do the instrumentation & control component?s selection and integration.
· Do the design calculations for control devices and instruments.
· Ensure the functional safety of Safety Instrumented Systems, & Safety Related Systems.
· Prepare the DVP&R (Design Verification Plan and Report).
· Do the HAZOP & LOPA.
· Perform the DFMA for Safety Instrumented Systems, & Safety Related Systems.
· Interact with shop floor technicians/ manufacturing team to support the production build.
· Interact with clients and solve the technical design issues.
· Write the Test Request for product validation.
· Work with technicians/vendors to complete the product validation.
*Requirements:*
· Instrumentation & control components calculation, selection & integration.
· Experience with SIS & SRS.
· Experience with HAZOP & LOPA.
· Self-starter, positive, with a strong ability to work cross functionally in a matrix organization with limited supervision.
· Knowledge of applicable NA I&C/Electrical, & Safety standards.
· NFPA79, NFPA 70, CSA, NEC, OSHA, etc.
· Knowledge in ATEX / IECEx zoning and protection methods (Ex i, Ex e, Ex n, Ex d, Ex m, Ex p, etc.) IEC 60079 series
· Experience with electrical design international standards IEC and IEEE.
· Knowledge in PFD, P&ID, Electrical drawings.
· Good command of SPI, Conval.
· Experience with intrinsic safety calculations.
· Experience with heat tracing calculations.
· Experience with projects for Hazard Location specially in North America.
· Proactive person who takes ownership over the assigned duties.
· Ability to work in design, & selection environments, as well as manufacturing & commissioning.
· Must be able to deal with complex and sometimes contradicting requirements. Can handle ambiguity by decoupling major goals into achievable work packages.
· Ability to travel as needed for 1-2 weeks at a time to US, ES, BE.

· Bachelors? degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical engineering.
· Licensed professional engineer.

Pay: $100,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
