Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. Wet/damp. Work setting: Ski centre/resort. Tasks: Demonstrate and instruct athletic, fitness or sports activities and techniques. Assist with coordination of recreational, sport and fitness events . Lead groups and individuals in recreational or leisure programs. Plan and carry out recreational, fitness and sports activities. Maintain and repair sports equipment. Prepare reports. Understand principles of group dynamics. Leading/instructing groups. Leading/instructing individuals. Conduct therapeutic recreational or athletic activities. Assist clients/guests with special needs. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Assemble supplies, sports and game equipment. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors (CASI) Certification. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Personal suitability: Client focus.
