Job details
Overlanders Manufacturing has an immediate opening for a full-time Administrative Assistant. We are seeking a hardworking, responsible and reliable individual to join our team.
The Administrative Assistant position will encompass dual responsibilities, serving as both a Logistics Coordinator and an Accounts Payable Clerk.
*Logistics Coordination*
* Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation of goods both domestically and internationally to meet customer delivery expectations
* Keep updated with production schedules and finished product completion
* Communicate directly with customers regarding ready to ship product and shipment updates
* Prepare customs documentation for international shipments, including commercial invoices and NAFTAs; respond to inquiries from couriers and brokers
* Troubleshoot shipment exceptions
* Mediate with the carriers to resolve logistical issues.
*Accounts Payable Clerk*
* Enter invoices from vendors
* Verifying all invoices to ensure their accuracy and troubleshoot any account discrepancies
* Respond to internal and external accounts payable inquiries in a timely manner
* Process weekly cheque runs; ensuring that all invoices are paid in a timely manner
* Filing and archiving
*Employment Requirements & Details*
* Logistics experience is considered an asset
* Accounting experience is considered an asset
* Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
* Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
* Fluent in English, verbal and written.
* Willingness to learn; will be trained on manufacturing software
*Position Details:*
* Full time employment
* Monday ? Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm
* Wage $22 per hour
