Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Relocation costs covered by employer. Repair and maintenance services. Tasks: Move tools, equipment and other materials. Clean machines and immediate work areas. Repair and maintain equipment. Perform other labouring and elemental activities. Hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers. File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired. Replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components. Apply primers and repaint surfaces. Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting. Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place. Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams. Mix paint, blend and match colors. Area of specialization: Auto body repair. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Manual dexterity.
