<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>Our Burlington client is looking for a Shipper | Receiver | Forklift Operator to support their Manufacturing Operation.<br><br><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong><br />Daily review of the sales orders related to on-hand or in-process parts to determine if there are any issues meeting to customer requirements.<br />Part staging, verification of requirements to sales orders, generation of shipping paperwork, and loading of trucks.<br />The unloading, receiving inspection and verification to packing slips of inbound trucking.<br />Documentation, vendor notification and posting of all packing slip discrepancies.<br />Communicate all related RMA's and NCRs to Quality and Materials Manager.<br />Accurate and timely entry of all shipping/receiving functions<br />Maintaining raw materials and finished part storage in an organized manner, utilizing the principles of 5S and FIFO.<br />Apply First In First Out principles to the movement of finished goods, sub-assemblies, components and raw materials.<br />Report all incoming material discrepancies, including rust or damage to Quality Department.<br />Deliver received parts and relevant receiving inspection to appropriate locations and departments.<br />Perform dock audit or part certification activities as requested.<br />Perform a lift truck inspection prior to the start of each shift.<br />Assist in routine inventory counts.<br />Follow all company safety procedures.<br />Adhere to all company policies and procedures.<br />Other duties assigned from time to time.<br><br><strong>Qualifications</strong><br />Ability to prioritize workload<br />Strong orientation to detail high transactional data input accuracy.<br />Minimum 2 years material handling experience in Manufacturing<br />Must have strong organizational skills, and the ability to carry out multiple tasks under significant time pressures.<br />Good communication skills both in verbal and written form.<br />Ability to deal effectively in pressure situations.<br />Thorough understanding of the material flow, Kanban systems.<br />Knowledge of Microsoft Office and applicable programs such as Microsoft Excel (Asset)<br />Forklift operator experience / certification<br />Crane License an asset</p></div>Company Description<div>3PL Inc. specializes in the temporary and permanent placement of Industrial, Skilled Trades and Administrative personnel. <br><br>3PL Inc. has a solid foundation within the personnel industry with over 50 years of hands on industry experience<br><br>Our team has built a reputation we are proud of and is committed to matching candidates with employers that best match their personal career goals<br><br>Located in Hamilton, ON, 3PL Inc. is currently partnered with employers seeking candidates across the Golden Horseshoe and the GTA including Niagara, Grimsby, Brantford, Stoney Creek, Hamilton, Burlington and Oakville<br><br>3PL Inc. is committed to fostering an inclusive, accessible environment, where all employees and customers feel valued, respected and supported.
