Reporting to the General Manager and working from our Port Moody office, the Customer Service, Operations position is responsible for ensuring that orders are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with the Contract, Company Policies and Procedures, and legislative and labour requirements. The Customer Service, Operations position is the main interface with the client on technical and commercial matters relating to the Order. The Customer Service, Operations will also be responsible for coordinating the installation and order completion functions in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
· Partner with Sales to establish and maintain customer relations and business opportunities.
· Act as main interface between Company and Customer, on order matters.
· Responsible for the overall planning and scheduling of assigned orders and execution of customer contracts.
· Enter Orders, create Bills of Materials and Ensure regular maintenance of Enterprise Management Software (Epicor) job reporting and generate weekly and/or monthly order milestone forecasts for labour hours, productivity, cash flow, profit margin, and revenue.
· Ensure preparation and submission of order documents, as specified by contract, to the client.
· Monitors and manages contract scope and identifies any scope changes throughout order.
· Ensuring all scope and contract change orders are approved by the customer.
· Managing the installation process and coordinating resources to fulfil contracts on time and on budget.
· Responsible for managing billing milestones and assisting in collections as appropriate.
· Working with clients and customer to resolve issues related to installation and warranty services.
· Identify risks, problems and issues as early as possible; ensure mitigating actions are in place to minimize impact, and elevate to senior management as appropriate relative to severity
*POSITION REQUIREMENTS*
· Minimum post-secondary diploma/degree in engineering or related technical discipline with extensive technical, administrative, and construction project management experience.
· Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive project management experience directing engineering or technical operations in a manufacturing/installation environment.
· Knowledge of material and industry specifications (AIA, CCDC, ASTM, ASME), construction trades, building codes, metal fabrications and installations
· SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and ERP Software training and knowledge are beneficial attributes.
· Advanced computer skills required (Microsoft Office / Windows)
· Prior exposure to engineering, sales and construction project management audiences.
· Strong leadership ability to lead and execute customer projects
· Strong communication skills both verbal and written (in English ? French an Asset).
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Results-oriented, self-motivated individual with a strong sense of initiative.
· Evaluated based on attainment of objectives critical to the company?s success.
· Provides administrative and professional direction to project resources, and as a consultant provides guidance to top management, executives and officers.
· Regular interactions with other functional department staff heads and internal stakeholders, as well as external relationships with suppliers, customers, sales and distribution employees as required.
· Makes significant decisions on all matters under area of responsibility according to budget, strategy, within established approval limits.
· Exercises independent judgment in solving customer issues, creatively and collaboratively, and within budget.
· Escalates issues with significant risk and impact to the business to senior management.

Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
