*Position Overview:* We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Operations Manager to join our team. This role is critical in overseeing staff, schedules, invoicing, quality control, HR, and company development. The ideal candidate will have a background in cleaning and management, with an exceptional eye for detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Availability on busy Sundays, Mondays, and statutory holidays is essential.
*Key Responsibilities:*
*Staff Management:*
* Oversee the recruitment, training, and management of cleaning staff.
* Ensure high levels of team engagement and performance.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
*Scheduling:*
* Manage and adjust cleaning schedules to accommodate last-minute changes, early check-ins, and late check-outs.
* Coordinate with How to Host Inc. to align cleaning operations with guest arrivals and departures.
*Quality Control:*
* Perform regular quality checks to ensure all properties meet Sparkling Stays? high standards.
* Address and resolve any quality issues promptly.
*Invoicing and Financial Management:*
* Oversee invoicing processes to ensure timely and accurate billing.
* Assist in company projections and quoting for new business.
*Human Resources:*
* Handle HR-related tasks including employee relations, payroll, and compliance with labor laws.
* Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
*Company Development:*
* Identify and implement strategies for business growth and improvement.
* Enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
*Communication and Coordination:*
* Maintain excellent communication with staff, clients, and the management team at How to Host Inc.
* Use scheduling and invoicing software effectively.
*Inventory Management:*
* Manage stock ordering for short-term rentals, ensuring supplies are adequately maintained.
*Qualifications:*
* Proven experience in cleaning and management roles.
* Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to handle a fast-paced and pressure-filled environment.
* Strong communication skills in English.
* Must own a car for travel between properties.
* Proficiency in scheduling and invoicing software.
* Experience in team building, hiring, and company projections.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
* An eye for design and staging is a plus.
* Availability on Sundays, Mondays, and statutory holidays.
