The Verity Matters is looking for a dedicated, passionate, and organized Administrative Assistant.
The Loans & Grants Administrative Assistant responsibilities:
· Prepare proposals as directed by the Executive Director for specific funding opportunities.
· Research databases for appropriate funding sources.
· Engage, produce and complete award-wining proposals on behalf of the organization;
· Respond to funders' requests as directed by the Executive Director.
· Manage workflow by assigning tasks to other administrative employees daily, ensuring that deadlines are met and work is completed correctly.
· Implement and monitor programs as directed by management, and see the programs through to completion.
· Generate memos, emails and reports when appropriate.
· Assume responsibility for maintenance of office equipment, including computers, copy machines and fax machines.
· Maintain office supplies by checking inventory and order items'.

· Arrange and co-ordinate seminars, conferences, etc.
· Establish and implement policies and procedures.
· Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars and conferences.
· Schedule and confirm appointments.
· Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages.
· Answer electronic enquiries.

· Ability to communicate and interact effectively.
· Self-motivated and ability to self-direct, working independently and collaboratively.
· Ability to work as part of a team.
· Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills, attention to details.
· Experience using the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook), Canva and Adobe (preferred).
· Ability to multi-task various projects to meet differing deadlines.
· Strong work ethic and in maintaining a strict level of confidentiality.
*General:*
· Must be Canadian citizen or hold Permanent Residence card.
· Will be returning to school or college/or have just completed college.
· The program is for an initial period of 8-9 weeks.
· Wage: $16.55 per hour.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.55 per hour
Expected hours: 25 ? 30 per week
Schedule:
* Monday to Friday

* Windsor, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
