<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>We are seeking a qualified and experienced <strong>Truck and Coach Technician with a 310T </strong>certification for our client in Sudbury, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and coaches to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and coaches according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.</li><li>Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems.</li><li>Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.</li><li>Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems and determine the most effective repair solutions.</li><li>Replace or repair faulty components and systems, ensuring proper installation and functionality.</li><li>Test repaired vehicles to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs performed.</li><li>Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing repairs and maintenance tasks.</li><li>Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate repairs and ensure timely completion of work orders.</li><li>Keep abreast of industry trends, developments, and advancements in truck and coach technology.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>310T certification as a Truck and Coach Technician.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is an asset.</li><li>Proven experience as a truck and coach technician or similar role.</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.</li><li>Familiarity with heavy-duty truck and coach systems and components.</li><li>Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.</li><li>Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</li><li>Valid driver's license and clean driving record.</li><li>Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.</li><li>Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.</li></ul><p><strong>Ability to commute/relocate:</strong></p><ul><li>Sudbury, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (mandatory)</li></ul><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Heavy Duty Mechanic: 2 years (mandatory)</li></ul><p><strong><span class="long-word">Licence/Certification:</span></strong></p><ul><li>310T (mandatory)</li></ul><p><strong>Work Location:</strong> In person</p></div></div>
