*Key Responsibilities:*
A Delivery Driver under the National Safety Code (NSC) Transport Canada is responsible for transporting goods from the company's distribution center (factory) to various customer locations in a timely, safe, and efficient manner. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, adherence to delivery schedules, and maintenance of vehicle safety standards. The Logistics Coordinator will report directly to the Logistics Manager. Some key responsibilities of the role include the following:

*Timely Deliveries:*
* Ensure on-time delivery of products to customers according to the delivery schedule.
* Verify delivery instructions and addresses before departure.
*Vehicle Maintenance:*
* Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
* Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, fueled, and in good working condition.
* Report any vehicle issues or needed repairs promptly.
* Operate and care for transport trucks, construction equipment, tools, and machines.
*Loading and Unloading:*
* Safely load and unload products from the delivery vehicle.
* Use equipment such as hand trucks, dollies, and pallet jacks when necessary.
* Verify the accuracy of the delivery load and ensure all items are accounted for.
* Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements.
*Customer Service:*
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer queries and concerns professionally.
* Obtain customer signatures and ensure proper documentation of delivered items.
* Handle customer complaints or issues and report them to the supervisor for resolution.
* Provide customers with the highest level of service ensuring all work performed adheres to all relevant organizational, provincial, and federal safety regulations, codes, and specifications.
*Compliance and Safety:*
* Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
* Ensure compliance with all delivery-related regulations and company standards.
* Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe lifting practices.
* Maintain compliance with all transportation safety laws as required by the Motor Vehicle act Regulations.
* Following CVSE regulations to make wall panel deliveries within the geographic region.
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
*Documentation and Reporting:*
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, locations, and any discrepancies.
* Submit delivery documentation and reports as required.
* Handle shipping documents- bills of lading and waybills.
* Keep logs of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
* Record and report any vehicle and equipment defects.
* Apply good understanding of the National Safety Code for transportations requirements and standards.
