*About the Job:*
Working under the direction of the Lead Installer, you will assist with providing ?Great Service? to our customers.
While delivering and assembling office furniture is the dominant aspect of the job, representing our company in a professional manner and ensuring that our customers? expectations are always met are also key aspects of the job.
Your job will be based in Halifax, but there could be occasional trips out of town or to New Brunswick.
You must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. Moving carts and dollies are used to move items, but periodic lifting of heavy items to get them on and off moving carts is required.
Start time each day is 8am and normal end time is 5pm, however the ability to work evenings and weekends is required because all work must be completed before leaving a worksite.
Applicants with previous experience in moving goods, material handling and storage, construction & general labour will be considered.
Preference to be given to candidates with a valid driver?s licence, a clean drivers abstract and previous experience. Rate of pay based on these factors.
Applicants must NOT have any criminal offences and must be able to qualify for RMCP and PWGSC security clearance. Your Driver?s abstract must be acceptable for coverage by our insurance company. Failure to obtain Secret Level Government clearance or refusal of our insurance provider to allow you to be covered by our vehicle insurance can result in termination of employment.
