Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Evaluate daily operations . Monitor department's performance. Plan and organize daily operations. Plan for changes to schedules and policies. Prepare reports for senior management. Recruit staff. Supervise staff. Train staff. Manage finances or budget. Ensure transport compliance with regulations. Negotiate for services and preferential rates. Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods. Oversee the setting of transportation service rates and monitor revenue. Organize and maintain inventory. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
