Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work site environment: Noisy. Dusty. Work setting: Food processing plant. Tasks: Perform corrective machine adjustments. Observe gauges, computer printouts and video monitors to verify specified processing conditions. Make adjustments to process variables. Set up and adjust processing and packaging machines. Computer and technology knowledge: HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) knowledge. Equipment and machinery experience: Multi-functional process control machinery. Security and safety: Drug test. Criminal record check.
