Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Mechanical engineering/mechanical technology/technician. Tasks: Report on the performance of computer systems and networks. Consult user guides, technical manuals and other documents to research and implement solutions. Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties. Collect, organize and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts. Provide customer service. Manage incidents. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems. Resolve product and service related problems. Provide problem-solving services to network users. Professionalism in customer service. Troubleshoot problems related to equipment. Provide information/training to employers, employees and general public. Develop curriculum for training programs. Personal suitability: Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills.
