Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. Dusty. Noisy. Work setting: Residential renovation. Tasks: Direct and control daily operations . Evaluate daily operations . Plan and organize daily operations. Plan and prepare work schedules. Select and employ trade subcontractors and co-ordinate their activities. Inspect subcontractors work to ensure quality and conformity with plans and specifications. Plan and manage budgets. Perform various trade work during home construction or renovation activities. Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers. Train staff. Prepare estimates and bids for home construction, renovation and restoration projects. Work with customers, architects and engineers regarding plans and specifications. Ensure that construction permits are obtained. Develop and implement health and safety plans. Supervision: 3-4 people. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Attention to detail. Large workload. Personal suitability: Client focus.
