Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Dusty. Noisy. Outdoors. Work setting: Commercial. Industrial. Roads and bridges. Sidewalks and curbs. Various locations. Tasks: Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement. Operate power vibrators to compact concrete. Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification. Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools. Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces. Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Load, unload and transport construction materials. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Type of materials: Colours and sealers. Hardners and epoxies. Reinforcing membrane and protective covering. Security and safety: Drug test. Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel regularly. Travel expenses paid by employer.
