Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Tasks: Direct and control the operations of commercial facilities. Identify customers' needs . Prepare reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility. Promote sales to existing clients. Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements. Recommend products or services to customers. Identify and solicit potential clients. Assess client's needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services. Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service. Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service. Prepare and administer sales contracts. Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services. Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs. Direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment's machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems. Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff. Plan and manage the facility's operations budget. Plan, organize and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security and snow removal. Resolve product and service related problems. Troubleshoot problems related to equipment. Organize and maintain inventory. Care for pets. Supervision: 3-4 people. Area of work experience: Quality assurance or control. Sales experience: Consulting services. Security and safety: Reference required. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Own vehicle. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Repetitive tasks. Personal suitability: Client focus.
