*Work Location and Travel Requirements*
At Buildforth, our projects span across the beautiful and diverse landscapes of British Columbia. We are looking for candidates who are versatile and open to the idea of working in various locations, depending on the needs of our projects. This role may involve either out-of-town work in different parts of British Columbia and the Okanagan.
*Job Summary:*
As a Joureyman Carpenter you will be reporting directly to our site supervisor. This is a full-time position with competitive wage and employee incentives. This opportunity will be a combination of leadership and hands-on work on construction sites in and around B.C. Some key responsibilities of the role include the following:
· Interpret and analyze blueprints and building plans
· Choose appropriate materials based on project requirements
· Measure, cut ad shape wood and other materials using hand tools and power tools
· Install joists, trusses and rafters
· Safe and efficient operation of hand tools and construction equipment
· Be part of a continuous improvement process
· Assess quality of woodwork and materials
· Collaborating with Site Supervisor to execute quality control processes
· Ensure work is always conducted in a safe manner
· Regularly inspecting finished work to ensure it meets established quality standards
*Qualifications:*
· Excellent practical knowledge in residential construction
· Excellent understanding of construction drawings
· Ability to physically perform all construction-related tasks
· Excellent people and communication skills
· Work accurately and economically
· Outstanding time management and multitask skills

Pay: $24.50-$42.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 ? 60 per week
