Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. Noisy. Dusty. Hot. Work setting: Construction site. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Perform pre-operational inspection. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Pave and rake asphalt. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Perform routine maintenance work. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Direct traffic at or near construction sites. Security and safety: Bondable. Criminal record check. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Hard hat. Safety glasses/goggles. Gloves. Ear plugs. Safety vest. Rain gear. Personal suitability: Dependability. Reliability. Team player. Hardworking. Screening questions: Are you available for the advertised start date?. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
