We are committed to supporting you throughout your job search and at every stage of your career.</p><p> </p><p>Hello, I'm Hugo, Recruitment and Business Development Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance, accounting and payroll. <br> <br>I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area. <br>Our team of finance experts speaks your language and works in your environment. <br> <br>I'm looking for a senior accountant for my client in the east end of Montreal. This is a permanent position. <br> <br>Your responsibilities will include : <br> <br>- Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the branch general ledger. <br>- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for the branch. <br>- Perform bank statement reconciliations. <br>- Assist in the preparation of branch budgets and forecasts. <br>- ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. <br>- support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation. <br>- oversee and process branch payroll. <br>- manage payroll requests and resolve discrepancies. <br>- perform regular inventory reconciliations and adjustments. <br>- manage the requisition purchase order process. <br>- develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. <br>- negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to obtain favorable agreements.</p><p>- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field. <br>- Minimum 5 to 7 years experience in accounting or finance. <br>- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, practices and regulations. <br>- Proficiency in accounting software (Acumatica an asset) and Microsoft Office Suite. <br>- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills. <br>- Strong attention to detail and accuracy. <br>- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. <br>- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. <br>- Bilingualism (English and French)</p>
