Job details
Education: College/CEGEP. Tasks: Compile orders and instructions received from customers. Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization. Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments. Read blueprints, written specifications and production drawings. Prepare and submit reports. Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery. Arrange for maintenance and repair work. Ensure proper functioning of equipment. Recruit and hire staff. Co-ordinate activities with warehouse and production units. Train workers in duties and policies. Advise vehicle operators of traffic and other problems. Assist with maintenance of communications equipment. Communicate with ships, aircraft and other remote operations. Knowledge of cross border dispatching regulations and practices.
