Aug. 30, 2024 <p>_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ <p> SUMMARY: (Please refer to Microsoft Teams for full class specifications)<p>Reports to and works under the direction of the School Principal or his/her designate. Provides supervision of students inside school facilities and on the school campus during lunch periods.<p>QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of Grade 10 education or equivalent combination of education and experience. Up to 3 months experience dealing effectively with elementary school aged children.<p> Knowledge of basic First Aid.<p> Ability to communicate effectively with administration, staff, and students. Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.<p> Ability to use good judgement when confronted with difficult situations and when providing information. <p> Knowledge of school behavioural rules, guidelines, and procedures for effective enforcement is an asset. Physically capable of performing the duties of the position.<p> Ability to work in all weather conditions.<p> Willingness to participate in workshops designed to provide assistance in various approaches to handling behaviour problems/conflict resolution.<p> Knowledge of WCB and WHMIS regulations.
