Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Assist with landscape constructions. Weed, prune and trim trees and plants. Cut grass. Rake and collect refuse. Lay sod or seed. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Tight deadlines. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Experience: Will train. Support for newcomers and refugees: Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.). Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Support for Indigenous people: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers .
