Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Noisy. Dangerous. Dusty. Cold/refrigerated. Hot. Work setting: Urban area. Rural area. Construction site. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Equipment and machinery experience: Concrete vibrators. Screeds. Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional. Poured concrete. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines. Manual dexterity. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Overtime required. Sound discrimination. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
