Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Confined spaces. Wet/damp. Noisy. Odours. Dusty. Hot. Work setting: Construction. Tasks: Assist with landscape constructions. Tie and secure plants. Weed, prune and trim trees and plants. Cut grass. Rake and collect refuse. Remove litter and garbage. Cart and spread topsoil and other materials. Lay sod or seed. Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees. Apply fertilizers. Dig cemetery graves. Repair and maintain equipment. Write daily basic progress reports. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment. Tree removal. Equipment and machinery experience: Backhoe. Chain saw. Forklift. Front end loader. Gravel or dump truck. Pick-up truck. Roto-tiller. Small engine equipment. Sod cutter. Sprayer or duster. Tractor. Tractor mower. Weed trimmer/edger. Skidsteer. Area of work experience: Cleaning. Snow removal. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driver's validity licence check.
