Under the direction of the Supervisor of Operations, the Assistant Supervisor of Operations is responsible for:<p>* Maintaining the building and grounds of the school division in safe and good repair.<p>* Supervising the work of the custodians, cleaning staff, and maintenance crew, including summer and casual<p>employees.<p>* Maintaining assigned records and reports.<p>* Managing the system of inspections and record keeping so as to maintain accurate, up-to-date reference<p>information regarding each facility.<p>* Assisting the Supervisor of Operations with the preparation and implementation of the annual budget.<p>* Managing the computerized energy management system.<p>* Respecting the confidentiality of the information available within the Operations Department.<p>* Performing job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned.<p>The ideal candidate will bring:<p>1. Grade twelve standing or equivalent<p>2. Good communication and interpersonal skills<p>3. Demonstrated organizational and planning skills<p>4. Valid Manitoba's Driver's Licence<p>5. General knowledge of construction, trades, cleaning and custodial services, building maintenance, preventative<p>maintenance and energy management<p>6.
