*Your Role*
Reporting to the Managing Director, as the *Business Development Manager*, your role is pivotal in driving growth and securing new business opportunities. You will maintain our existing clients while developing business strategies, educating customers, and networking with potential clients.
*Responsibilities*
* *Market Research and Analysis: *Identify market trends and opportunities for growth. Analyze competitors and industry developments to stay ahead.
* *Lead Generation and Networking:* Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, industry professionals, and key stakeholders. Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to create business opportunities.
* *Marketing Strategy:* Develop and implement marketing strategies to raise awareness of the company's brand and services. Create marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and promotional campaigns. Utilize digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and website optimization, to reach target audiences.
* *Proposal Development:* Prepare and present compelling proposals and bids to clients. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposals are comprehensive and aligned with client needs.
* *Client Relationship Management:* Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business. Address client concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
* *Strategic Planning: *Develop and implement business development strategies and plans. Set targets and track performance metrics to ensure goals are met.
* *Sales and Negotiation: *Drive the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing. Negotiate contracts and terms to benefit the company while meeting client expectations.
* *Collaboration with Internal Teams:* Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to understand project requirements and capabilities. Ensure alignment between client expectations and project deliverables.
* *Reporting and Documentation:* Maintain accurate records of business development activities and outcomes. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management.
*Skills and Qualifications*
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience with a proven track record in business development, sales, or a related role, with a focus on the construction industry.
* Strong ability to drive sales processes and utilize the team to close deal
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and team members.
* Proficiency in building and maintaining relationships with clients, partners, and industry professionals.
