Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Confined spaces. Noisy. Dusty. Work setting: High-rise building construction sites. Various locations. Tasks: Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials. Clean and lubricate cranes. Instruct apprentices. Operate cranes equipped with dredging attachments to dredge waterways and other areas. Assemble tower cranes on site. Perform routine maintenance work. Type of cranes: Climbing crane, fixed or limited mobility. Conventional cable crane, tracked. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Sitting. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Hard hat. Personal suitability: Dependability. Excellent oral communication. Flexibility. Team player. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
