Responsibilities
Tasks

Assess potential institutional, business or individual client markets

Calculate premiums

Establish client insurance coverage

Establish method of payment

Identify potential markets

Ensure appropriate forms, medical examinations and other policy requirements are completed

Monitor insurance claims and respond to clients' enquiries

Provide customer service

Provide information concerning group and individual insurance packages, the range of risk coverage, benefits paid and other policy features

Sell automobile, fire, health, life, property, marine, aircraft and other types of insurance

Address customers' complaints or concerns

Supervise staff

Ensure compliance with government regulations

Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages

Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers

Recruit, organize, train and manage staff
