Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: All weather conditions. Work setting: Apartment/condominium complex. Office building. Various locations. Commercial building. Private residence. Tasks: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs. Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment. Perform minor repairs on appliances. Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Work with minimal supervision. Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Equipment: Power tools. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling.
