Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Prepare engineering designs and drawings. Supervise other drafting personnel . Train new drafting personnel. Prepare construction specifications, costs and material estimates. Estimate costs and materials. Examine drawings for conformity and errors. Consult with client, engineers or production specialists to establish product requirements. Leading/instructing groups. Type of drafting: Manual drafting. Computer and technology knowledge: AutoCAD. MS Office. Spreadsheet. Area of work experience: Quality assurance or control. Specialization or experience: 3D Modeling. Area of specialization: Mine construction. Civil engineering. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Attention to detail.
