Tasks: Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Instruct apprentices. Supervise other workers. Operate CADD and other computer software systems. Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. 3-4 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Carpenter Trade Certification. Type of drafting: Shop drawings. Security and safety: Bondable. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Willing to travel. Willing to travel regularly. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling.
