MUST BE CURRENTLY LOCATED IN CANADA
We are seeking a talented executive Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The executive Sous Chef will assist in overseeing the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production, and maintaining a smooth workflow.
\*Duties\*
- Collaborate with the executive Chef to plan and create menus
- Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation
- Assist in training and mentoring kitchen employees
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Oversee food presentation and quality
- Assist in developing new recipes and menu items
\*Experience\*
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Leadership skills to guide and motivate kitchen staff
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
- Familiarity with restaurant management software is advantageous
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
