Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Community agency. Women's shelter. Social service or charity agency. Tasks: Appraise clients' needs or eligibility for specific services. Perform administrative tasks. Assess client's relevant skill strengths and development needs. Resolve conflict situations. Conduct individual and group counselling sessions. Supervision: 5-10 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CPR Certificate. Target audience: Adolescents. Children. Females. Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic mail. MS Office. Area of work experience: Community service organization. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently.
