Ready to Make an impact?We are looking for an Operations Planner who will support our E-commerce team in labour and capacity planning as well as sales forecasting and analytics. The incumbent must have strong analytics skills with experience MS Excel/Power Query, operation understanding. Here's where you'll be focusing: Work with merchandising team on sales forecasting and analytics Collaborate with Planning peers as related to baseline metrics, targets, data, and results (analysis support and insight) Work with Operational Planning and Analytics Manager to ensure expectations and timelines met Interact with CFC and delivery to get hard limits Support labour and capacity planning or capacity optimization Create mid to short term plan of sales, capacity, and availability Analyze and understand dynamic forecasts to maximize sales, including forecasting key assumptions Perform complex analysis in a specific area of sales and capacity planning What you have to offer: Diploma/Bachelor's degree; Industrial Engineering/Data Analytics/Computer Science is preferred Minimum of 2 years analytical and/or planning experience, including but not limited to order modeling and forecasting Expert level use of Microsoft Office suite, including advanced Excel skills Experience with PowerApps, Power Automate, Power Query (strong asset) Experience in Python programming for data mining and modeling (asset) Experience in SQL (Asset) Experience with reporting and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across functions The candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with peers in other provinces to develop procedures and processes to be implemented nationally. They will also have to interact regularly with her peers in other provinces, as well as provide support to Sobeys employees across Canada.
