Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Underground. Confined spaces. Noisy. Dusty. Cold/refrigerated. Work setting: Construction site. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Operate various vehicles and equipment. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Team player. Adaptability.
