JOB PURPOSEThe Respiratory Therapist 1 is responsible for providing respiratory services under the supervision of a Respiratory Therapist with an active license.QUALIFICATIONSCompletion of an accredited training course for Respiratory Therapists. Licensed or eligible for licensing with the New Brunswick Association of Respiratory Therapists.Travel may be required and must have valid driver's license.Ability to attend work on a regular basis.Ability to perform the duties of the position.Good work record.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe Respiratory Therapist 1 is responsible for: Testing and measuring pulmonary functionAssessing, monitoring and administering respiratory therapiesAssisting and supporting airway management and resuscitationInspecting, maintaining, preparing and troubleshooting equipmentMaintaining clinical records and documentationParticipating in interdisciplinary care planningPreparing and presenting information and educationCOMPETENCIES IDENTIFIED BY HORIZON HEALTH NETWORKAttention to DetailCommunicationInterpersonal RelationsPatient/Client FocusPlanning and Prioritizing WorkResults OrientationTeamwork and CollaborationInterested?
