Education: College/CEGEP. Tasks: Install equipment. Interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation. Maintain equipment. Read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements. Service equipment. Test power equipment and systems . Assist in inspecting, testing and adjusting electronic components. Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments. Conduct safety training programs. Conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems. Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems. Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports. Install water meters. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Certified Engineering Technologist (CET). Computer and technology knowledge: MS Outlook. MS Office. Equipment, eystems and controls experience: Navigation equipment and systems. Electronic testing equipment and systems. Area of work experience: Evaluate work environments, programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury. Type of industry experience: Electrical utilities.
