The reputation of integrity we have built in the marketplace is a result of continually catering to our clients’ specifications and successfully completing millions of transactions flawlessly!Accountabilities / Responsibilities:o Providing routing and transportation serviceso Tracking all shipments to ensure on time deliveryo Having knowledge of what steamship lines, truckers, drayage companies handle certain lanes and pick up locationso Understanding what type of transportation services to use and wheno Checking customer credito Entering daily information in transportation software system and order spreadsheeto Responsible to follow up with carriers and supplier / load facilitieso Negotiate rates and identify opportunities to reduce costso Communicating any additional costso Providing excellent customer service to all involved partieso Complying with SOPs and BRC Global Standardso Report non-conformances and non-compliance issues of third-party service providerso Having knowledge and understanding of pricing trends / availability, supply chain demand, customer knowledge, and country requirementso Building strong relationships with all involved parties in the shipment transactiono General office duties and all other tasks assigned Requirements:o Bachelor’s degree / college diploma in related fieldo Customs and agriculture experienceo Food industry knowledgeo Transportation experienceo 1-2 years in logistics role / related fieldo Effective communication skillso Effective problem-solving skillso Quick learner, motivated to continuously develop and growo Flexible, ability to adapt to changeo Fluency in English and Spanish In Addition:Training and support are always provided, along with an open-door policy to all Managers.
