Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Work site environment: At heights. Outdoors. Work setting: Various locations. Remote location. Tasks: Replace or repair electrical components. Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance. Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems. Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices. Type of service and repair: Programmable logic controller (PLC). Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Travel expenses paid by employer. Willing to travel. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Fast-paced environment. Overtime required. Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods. Large workload. Tight deadlines. Own tools/equipment: Tools.
