Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. Tasks: Plan and direct grounds maintenance. Organize and direct construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls. Plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work. Repair and maintain equipment. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervision: 5-10 people. Equipment and machinery experience: Pick-up truck. Small engine equipment. Tractor. Area of specialization: Grounds maintenance. Landscape construction. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Gloves. Personal suitability: Client focus.
